Dark Side

Hello all. This weeks blog is being created almost entirely using my phone so if it looks rubbish that's why :) As I have been away this week this walk is from last week when as you know the city was engulfed in fog/smog depending how dramatic you want to be. Most of the time it was overcast which did have some effect on the photos.

This week I took a short walk from my house to the Sheffield General cemetery. Taking in some more of Sharrow vales unique shops and sights. The cemetery, opened in 1836 was the main burial ground for Victorian Sheffield and contains 87,000 graves. Including those of some notable Sheffield residents. The last funeral at the site was in the 1970's but it remains a great place to visit to walk dogs, see nature or just have a good old fashioned promenade.

I hope you enjoy it and as always check out the Twitter the Facebook and my Etsy shop. Also I am selling some of my insect photos on ebay. 50% of the profits go to the Invertebrate conservation charity Buglife. Please check them out here.
